Rare 1978 Formula Thunderbird F233 Interceptor The Formula was F233 designed by Jim Wynne and Walt Walters at Thunderbird and raced by Don Aronow. This hull was the original "The Cigarette" that revolutionized offshore boat hulls. Don Aronow is to be portrayed by John Travolta in the upcoming movie “Speed Kills”. I am the second owner of this classic boat. This boat has only been used in fresh water and features the original upholstery. New transom and engine beds utilizing plywood, epoxy, and biaxial cloth The prone to leakage aluminum Gas tank was removed and a new Plastic tank installed. All through-hull holes were oversized drilled and filled with epoxy and cloth and re-drilled to prevent water penetration. Boat repowered with a 260 horsepower Mercruiser and Alpha One outdrive.
