It was used by the Port Authority as a security (standby if needed) boat since new in 2005, last year (2016) it was damaged by a storm and replaced with a new one. In September of 2016 a storm swept through the area causing damage to the Port and to this boat, at the time the boat was stored in its usual position in a boat lift/sling which was positioned on the Port property on side of a concrete dock (large dock for ships). The storm wind pushed the boat into the dock for hours, part of the lift broke free from the concrete dock wall and spun the boat in different directions while rubbing up against the concrete wall (will add photos in photo links of concrete dock wall so you can better understand), when the damage was assessed after the storm the Port used a crane to sit the boat back on its trailer! Several weeks after the storm it was replaced with a new one and months after it was sold to us along with several pieces of equipment/tractors. Prior to the storm and damage the small Port Authority maintained the boat by the book, was serviced properly and always sat in a sling at the Port dock in the event it was needed, cranked regularly and most of the hours put on it are from just dropping in water – cranking to let run a few minutes and put back in sling, the Port explained all functions of the boat were in 100% working order prior to the damage, the trailer was used very little so before pulling it back to Mississippi we replaced the front axle because it was stored with the tires/wheels off the front and because of spindle condition found it easier to replace axle, the other axle bearings were checked – greased and (4) new tires installed – it pulled back to MS with absolutely no problems and because of the new tires, bearings greased and new front axle should trailer to your location with no problem. The Port Authority is self-insured so the boat was not an insurance claim or anything like that, prior to the storm boat had never had any damage or issues. We have simply cleaned the boat, repaired the trailer so it is roadworthy and put on eBay, we have not tested anything further, can tell you the electronics all light up and seem fine, one of the engines lights up, hours show, etc. – the other looks as if it had some electrical wires/connections damaged in the storm and it is not powering up and shows signs of a short damage, we have one of the engine cowlings but the other was lost in the storm, the one engine as mentioned looks to need a little electrical work/connections/wiring repaired, both engines have severe prop damage and have some scratches/dings, the main damage to be repaired is the fiberglass hull below and on bottom sides, please take a look at all the photos and realize you will either need to be good with fiberglass repair or hire someone that is, has several pretty good spots where the concrete wore into the hull, again take a look at the photos, the top side of the hull is in pretty good shape all around – still needs some cleaning – etc., the outer hull sides still has the Port name and security decals on it but they can be removed, other than that what you see is what you get.
