Inventory # 10071 Location: Punta Gorda, FL General Description: This 1999 31' Sea Ray Sundancer partially submerged when the bellow on dripless shaft seal serving starboard engine became detached allowing water ingress through shaft log into machinery space. Hull in fair condition for age with chalky gelcoat, latter possibly renewable with buff and wax. A waterline was sighted at the transom putting the water level approximately half way up the engines. Some water appears to have reached the aft cabin sole. No other water damage to the vessel interior was sighted. No physical loss related damage to the hull was sighted. The overall general condition of the vessel other than loss related items is average for a vessel of its age and use. Not all equipment could be tested as no power to vessel at time of inspection. Other: AC: Cruisair, 10K BTU, in good condition. AC not submerged. AC appears serviceable. No power to vessel to prove. Anchor locker Arch: Factory arch with Garmin radar is serviceable. Gauges and controls appear in good condition, Sea Ray lever cable controls were serviceable. Analog gauges appear serviceable. Hardtop/Flybridge in good condition. Rubrail in fair condition. General scratches and dings. Spot light: Bow mounted spot light powered up but did not turn counter clockwise. Swim ladder, stainless steel telescoping ladder is serviceable, in good condition. Swim platform in good condition, general nicks and dings sighted. Transom door in good condition. Transom shower in good condition. Trim tabs in good condition, Bennett trim tabs tested operational. Upholstery, exterior, in fair condition. Some UV damage, stains and small tears sighted. Overall serviceable condition. The freshwater pump did not power up. Water heater, KUUMA water heater was submerged, in poor condition. Wet bar with sink in cockpit Windshield in good condition, Windshield undamaged. Other windows in fair condition. The fixed port lights in the forward hull area are badly crazed and due for replacement. Florida 6% state sales tax will apply for Florida residents. Storage charges will accrue after the 10 day grace period. Loading fees will apply if no trailer included. Buyer is responsible for loading fees. Boat stands are not included. Engines: Twin Mercruiser 350 Mag MPI gas inboard engines. Engines partially submerged. Hours Port 914 and Starboard 653. The engines were reported preserved. It appears that components mounted on the forward engine compartment bulkhead was not submerged. Both engines were cranked, started immediately and were quickly turned off. The oil appeared recently renewed. Surface corrosion sighted on both engines. It appears the engines partially submerged approximately half way. The engine ECU’s were not submerged.
Transmission: Velvet V drives were not tested. Gear oil appears to be clean and at correct level. No excessive corrosion was sighted. It does not appear the transmissions were completely submerged.
Generator / Battery: Westerbeke generator partially submerged. No water in oil. The windings were submerged and generator was seized. No tag sighted. Batteries: Three (3) group 27 batteries in good condition, fully charged. Batteries not submerged. C charger appears unsubmerged but no power to prove.
Electronics: Garmin GPSmap 740s, Icom IC-M412 VHF, Ratheon Raydata and Raytheon Nav398 GPS/Loran appear in good condition. Garmin plotter with radar powered up. VHF powered up. Ratheon autopilot did not power up.
Galley: Galley with sink, storage, GE microwave, Kenyon two burner electric stove and Norcold refrigerator/freezer(tested under 12 volt as operational). Appliances not submerged, but not tested. Interior with salon, convertible dinette, forward berth and aft convertible lounge. Upholstery in fair condition, some stains and tears were sighted but no interior upholstery was submerged. Headliner in good condition, light colored vinyl, no rips sighted. Carpet in poor condition, worn and dirty with rust stains.
Ground Tackle: Lofrans windlass in good condition, tested operational.
Canvas, Mast Rigging, Sails: Isinglass enclosure in good condition. Canvas top with stainless bows forward and aft of arch appears recently renewed.
Head: Single head with sink, shower attachment, vanity and Vacuflush marine toilet, not tested. Vacuflush head (tested operational) with integrated shower draining to a sump box. Shipping: Item sold "where is". Assistance with shipping is generally available; however, buyer is responsible for costs of preparing item for shipment and charges for loading vessel onto trailer or transport.
