THE STARTING PRICE IS ONLY TO GET PEOPLE TO LOOK IT DOES NOT REFLECT THE TRUE VALUE OF THIS RARE OLD SAILBOAT                 NO RESERVE, I will take my chances that people that understand how rare this is will know the value.  Also someone might get a real bargain , and a unique vintage sailboat.  ( I do have it advertised locally etc. for 975.00)THis is one of the first ever models that Alcort produced, wood body, this sailboat is a classic. It is a precursor to the modern day sunfish and sails similarly. Its exact year is unknown but based on its all wood design it is one of the first models ever produced. It is a Super Sailfish, 14 ft, 3 ft wide,   in excellent condition, stored indoors before i purchased it. I sanded it, primed it, repainted it with interlux and used spar varnish for natural the wood parts. I will also include the left over paint and varnish cans.It has everything included. The sail in not original but I do have a part of the original sail with the sailfish logo. I have not put it in the water since I restored it. I don't sail ... yet, lol, So I feel uncomfortable possibly making a mess of it as my "learning to sail boat", as it is so unique. I got it thru an estate sale. I did have to buy a used sail for it. If you are close to Richmond VA, you are welcome to come and look in person. Please look at the pictures carefully. I am also willing to meet someone halfway up to 150 miles ( for .50 cents a mile) to make it more accessible to a larger area of interested people.check out a youtube vid to see one like it sailing, very very cool, to find it  search you tube, copy and past the following title ........
