4.3 meter all aluminium RIB (technically its a RBB which stands for Rigid Buoyant Boat). If you are looking for a small RIB this could be the answer. These boats are constructed almost entirely from aluminium, meaning they are light but strong. Conventional RIBs are good but the inflatable tubes are a weak point, they perish and degrade over time and are easily ripped, cut or holed. These aluminium tubes are obviously much more robust and will last for years and years. Each join has a bulkhead so there are several watertight compartments so it is practically unsinkable. It is significantly lighter than any equivalent sized fibreglass boat, it can be launched easily single handed. Two people can lift the whole thing as it is so it could be pushed off the rollers and hauled over land to the water (the metal hull would be more suitable for this than fibreglass too). Quality British built boat on a kiwi design. These are often fitted with jet drive outboards which paired with the robust metal hull means they can be driven through extremely shallow water.I was looking for one of these for a while they don't come up for sale often second hand, so I contacted the manufacturer who had this in old stock, so the age is unknown but it has had little to no use. It has plywood on the inside of the transom and my outboard made the first marks on it. There are a few scratches here and there and a couple of very minor dents but on the whole its good as new. Any future damage can be easily rectified by any aluminium fabricators. The whole thing could be sanded and highly polished if you had the time and enthusiasm. I had an aluminium centre console built for it by the original builder when I bought it and I fitted brand new teleflex steering. I fitted my 55HP to it and it was slightly too big. The reason I am selling the boat is that it is slightly too small for my requirements. I would say a 20-40hp (the transom requires a Longshaft) would be ideal for her.It has 2 x self draining elephants trunks to the deck. The small space below the deck is pretty water tight but there is an external screw bung for draining that small space (draws air when bung is unscrewed so I think it is air tight even).Comes with an Indespension Hallmark 'Coaster 5' trailer, un-braked rated to 750KG. Age unknown but like the boat showing hardly any signs of use. No significant rust. It has a rocking/gimballed set of rollers which make it very easy to slide the boat on and off even straight onto flat dry land. Requires new mudguards.I don't know the exact weight of the boat but here is a video of the it being pushed off of the trailer to help gauge this;https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lkMGua6BZ0Any questions or to arrange a viewing (Welcome and encouraged for serious bidders, please bid to buy not just to view!
