I am a certified Pleasurecraft/Crusader inboard engine technician, I go fishing offshore with this boat and have done a lot to make sure she is reliable. Cruises at 15 knots and tops out around 25 knots. Two 50 gallon tanks with feed and return manifold. 10 micron spin-on fuel filter. Great sound from the new twin mufflers.
When I bought the boat 4 years ago, it had been stripped of all deck hardware to be painted. I painted the hull and the bottom before splashing her. I installed the six cleats but the rodholders need a little fiberglass work to be properly installed.
I planned on painting the topside to match the hull, since the paint is holding up very well. The hull was painted with Interlux Perfection paint. Previous owner had all the wood hatches and doors replaced with starboard, except for the dash. There is still some re installing of trim panels and hardware to be done, and there used to be outriggers but they did not come with the boat. The large fiberglass and teak console seen in some of the pictures is currently off the boat as I was going to install a livewell tank inside of it. It will be included in the sale if desired.
Work performed in last three years:
New starter
New raw water pump
New exhaust manifolds and risers
New exhaust mufflers (they sound great)
New low pressure fuel pump
New high pressure fuel pump
ALL new relays
ALL new raw water, coolant and wet exhaust hoses
New steering cable
New cap, rotor, plugs and wires
Garmin GPS color chartplotter
New WIFI Fishfinder (displays on phone or tablet)
Transmission pump was rebuilt
Engine oil, transmission fluid, fuel filters and zincs are regularly changed and fresh right now.
ONLY Ethanol-Free REC90 fuel used.She always get lots of attention and people coming over to say hello, like I said she could use some topside paint and hardware, but her classic lines and sweet sound make her stand out, and she is ready to go out without any excuses. Motor is very powerful and runs great at idle or cruising on plane. Very stable at rest and on plane, have never been nervous about being out in the rough stuff.
Prop and rudder are protected by the keel, if you are not familiar with this model please look up "Fish the Classic".
