I put this combination together last year as with such a big investment I wanted the security of knowing that a new engine would be the safest bet in the long term. I purchased the boat and trailer, which was 2 years old, and then for piece-of-mind had a new axle, hubs, wheels, jockey wheel and winch fitted to the trailer. For the boat our local dealer fitted a brand new Mariner 60HP EFI (Super fuel efficient) four stroke engine.Our plan was simple, we wanted to wander round the canals of Port Grimaud in the South of France and then attend the Saturday market at St Tropez.Boxes ticked, we returned home and the boat has not been used since. You see, we're retired now.Additional bits that help are:- Garmin Fish-Finder/Depth gauge,Rev counter, Quality compass, full set of cushions including infill sun bathing platform, A Bimini hood (important) a helm cover and a very expensive but fully waterproof superb winter/travel cover. Finally and importantly the boat is self baleing so you don't need a whale pump. Good luck.
