For sale.Herbert Woods "Ocean 38". Hull and superstructure by Aquafibre of Rackheath Norfolk, fitted out by Herbert Woods, Norfolk. Powered by two 3.7 litre straight six diesels Ford Tempest (mechanical injection). Very economical.. This is an ocean going yacht. She sleeps four easily, there is a double bed in the aft cabin and another in the forward cabin, an aft single cabin, plus another potentially double bed in the cockpi where there is a settee. She has hot and cold running water. Two showers and two toilets (one forward one aft). Equipped galley with oven, cooker, hobs, fridge and sink with H&C water.Boat has dual controls, one set on fly bridge and other inside.Boat is currently moored on the Canal du Midi in the Langeudoc region of the South of France. Moorings paid up until 01/2018.Boat has not been touched for two years.....photo dates from two years ago. I will add more photos when I have the time. Talking of time, I just sadly do not have the time with a two year old and a business to run. She will need some TLC and would perfectly suit someone with some DIY skills. Mechanically she is fine, hull and superstructure are fine. She will need the teak sun deck either relaying or replacing ( a couple of days work with some marine ply), a few stancions refitting and a good clean up. A bit of work and this craft will truly look the business. She was built when they knew how to build boats. She is and honest boat and is sold as is.Boat is currently legally registed in the Hague, Holland and all papers are up to date. Originally she was registered in the United Kingdom. I still have the original British paperwork for her from 1974 with her SSN (Small Ships Registry Number) and an owner living or having an address in the UK could easily registerer her in the UK again. She is currently insured through an underwriter in the UK, Cost per year around £250.Offers around £24,950 but no stupid offers please.May take VW T4 camper in exchange, or US muslce car/ HD etc up to a value of £10k.
