This is a real deep V sport fishing machine designed to run offshore for salmon and albacore. She is equipped with a stainless steel 1/2 tower, counter rotating 250 hp.Yamaha 2 stroke engines with less than 80 hours total. Equipped with Furuno radar, Sitex fish finder, VHF, GPS, outriggers, refrigerator, Heart Interface inverter/battery charger etc. She sits on a 3 axle galvanized trailer. This boat has quite a history. She was confiscated by the DEA for running drugs in Florida when she was new in the '80s. She sat in a government dock for 10 years where she sank. She was bought at auction and brought to California in the late 90's by someone who had no idea what he had. I bought it at that point and installed a pair of new Yamaha 200's. The wiring was corroded, the electrical systems were compromised and she sank again when the bilge pumps failed to work during a heavy winter storm. At that point I had the hull completely stripped, painted with LPU and rebuilt from the keel up. New wiring harnesses, new panels new controls, new electronics, new 250 hp.Yamahas. Then my life changed a bit and I didn't have the time to use her...so she sat.
She's been sitting behind my barn for 5 or 6 years. She's dirty, fuel tanks need pumping, controls are sticky, hydraulic steering leaks, the upholstery is sunburned, and the trailer brakes need work. A survey a couple years ago put the replacement value at $175,000, so this is a real steal for someone ready and willing to put in some effort.
