You are bidding on an Ellen 12 wooden sailboat with a 2010 galvanized Load Rite trailer. This boat is a Brooks Boats design and was built in 2010 using glued (West Systems epoxy) lapstrake construction. The boat and trailer are in excellent condition and have been garage kept. The boat was stripped and repainted with George Kirby Marine Paints and finished this past winter. I also refitted her with all bronze hardware from Hamilton Marine. The boat comes with Shaw Tenney oars (w/leathers), which completes the old world charm and feel of this handsome vessel. The sail is a 60.5 sq. ft. loose footed sprit sail (single reef point), which is simple to rig and sail solo. The boat sails very well in both heavy and light air conditions and points exceptionally well. The boat rows like a dream and has two rowing stations with three removable seats. I am also including a heavy duty boat cover, two life jackets and an anchor. The galvanized trailer is in like new condition with new non-marking rollers that were installed in 2017. The trailer is completely road worthy. I have clear titles for both the boat and the trailer. This boat design was featured in Wooden Boat Magazine issues 156-158. It has a 12' length, 4' beam, weighs 120 lbs and drafts only 6-18". Shipping is the buyers responsibility. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Full payment is required prior to my releasing the boat to buyer or shipping company. I will accept cash, PayPal or Bank Cashiers Check for payment.
