Estimated price for orientation: 1 $
Category: Narrowboats or Canalboats

Description Country/Region of Manufacture: United Kingdom
NORMAN 20' CRUISER with HONDA 15 REMOTE OUTBOARDI've lived on this boat for 5 years whilst working in London, cruising the waterways of the area. I've loved it. The boat comes with a log book of its movements. It's described as a 4-berth but in practice is a comfortable 2-berth boat.
Electrics: 12V lighting system; professionally installed electrics for 240V electrical hook-up; small inverter (for running laptops etc).
Plumbing: washbasin with stirrup action tap; portapotti. The boat is powered by a Honda Marine 15HP outboard. It has proved itself 100% reliable and well worth the annual service. It is fitted as a remote, i.e you steer with the boat's wheel and use the throttle pretty much as driving a car. The fitting and electrics are all bespoke Honda. The boat is ready to go and the sale includes all ropes, fenders, mooring pins, windlass for locks and Waterways key (needed for some locks and boaters' facilities such as Elsan disposal point for contents of portaloo). There are other bits and pieces which I'll leave behind, including a fishing rod which I discovered whilst tidying up.Boat Safety Scheme until October 2017.Currently fully insured and licenced. My understanding is that neither insurance or licence are transferrable. It's a small boat, basic living, what you'd expect for 20' and £2.5k. It's done the job for me, providing super-cheap accommodation for London and also providing the enjoyment of boating around the amazing waterways of the London area. The boat has navigated the rivers Lee and Stort. Probably the majority of the time I've been on the Regent's or Grand Union canals. Currently moored in Islington. Nope, no mooring rights come with the boat - I've got a continuous cruise licence and have loved it, moving every 14 days or so.I'm arranging viewing for this coming Sunday June 4th - email malcolm.carroll@btinternet or call 07516 740212I need a quick sale so the boat is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to close this listing if it sells.
