1974 hobie Cat 16 with gear,spare parts,and trailerThe boat itself is in good sailable condition ,included is the boat ,trailer,new trailer spare ,trapeze harnesses ,hiking sticks and mast raising poleThe Boat condition The hulls are in what I would call good sailable condition,the boat is water ready and I haven't had any problems ,the forward parts of the upper hulls do have some soft areas ,I've never had any issue with these areas and I do walk out there on them ,they can easily be fixed with epoxy ,but again most hobies have soft hills and it just hasn't been an issue with me.the tramp is older for sure ,the hiking straps are gone ,and it is a little stained ,but will hold a crew of 3 fine ,the hiking pads need to be replaced , I just used shoes and never replaced it because I didn't want my shoes damaging the new pad .RiggingThe mast is good ,older but perfectly usable and certainly upgradable,the running rigging is also good and was recently replaced ,as well as the standing rigging .the trapeze wires are new and stored in the gear box ,the boat is set up now for standard sailingSailsYou won't win no beauty contest with them ,but they do the job,they are just standard hobie sailsTrailerThe trailer is road ready ,tires are good and the lights have been updated to led lighting ,there is also a new spare included as well as a spare holder that I never got around to installing The gear There are 3 hiking vests included ,two used and the gill is a new top level one that I've yet to use ,there is two new hiking cables ,a new righting strap ,and spare clips and such ,there are two hiking poles ,one is original and the other is a racing type,there is also some sort of mast raising gin pole ,I've never used it ,it's always been just to easy to walk the mast up Summary Like I stated ,the boat is in good sailable condition now to go out and have some fun on ,she is an older boat and is not a beauty contender,and probably needs to be pro rigged to race ,but as far as hanging off the sides fast sailing fun ,well it's on !The boat is located in smiths Alabama and Alabama does NOT title boats or trailers ,so it will be sold with bill of sale only .i will help in any way I can to help you obtain the paperwork your state requires
