This is our Leisure 17 up for sale moored in Hamble Le Rice, near Southampton. Built in 1977 sail no 2209 she has been well looked after over the years but could do with a little TLC and we just don't have the time as we are based in London and have another boat on the Thames. New Main Nov 2008 repaired 2017 New Standing Rigging 2011 New Roller headsail reefing and Genoa 2011 New Rubbing Strake 2011 Hull Re-painted 2011 New Windows & Seal 2010 New Masthead & aerial 2011 Control panel wiring 2009 Equipment CQR Anchor, chain & warp VHF Compass Log Fenders & Warps Life ring The interior could do with re-upholstering, the mainsail has a small tear repaired, the bottom could do with cleaning if you want to achieve racing speeds, there is a slight leak in one of the windows. Other than that she is a good, strong, safe dayboat. She is moored just opposite the jetty at Hamble Le Rice, it is a lovely mooring. The village has plenty of pubs, the sailing area is great and the Isle of Wight is just over Southampton Water. You would be welcome to take over the existing mooring which costs £65/month inc harbour fees. There is a Watertaxi which runs 7 days a week to and from the boat. Even though there is an outboard in the picture this is NOT included in the sale. Drop me an email if you want any more information.
