1978 32' Iona Islander with strong running 20 Hp diesel inboard.  Current registration and coast guard check. This a a great weekend and coastal cruiser, perfect for days on the bay and overnighters to Ensenada or Catalina.  She is solidly build, with simple rig easily solo sailed.  Could sleep up to 5 adults in the cabin: Forward double V berth, convertible double dinette and starboard quarter berth.  The good:Wheel steering.  4 deep cycle marine batteries, battery charger, stereo with cockpit speakers, alcohol stove, DC/AC refrigerator, Charcoal BBQ, hand pump sinks. 30 gal diesel fuel tank30 gal fresh water tanknew head with inboard holding or through hull pump out. Sails in good shape with jib on roller furler.All deck wood has custom sunbrella covers. Excellent interior with newly painted cabin sole.  New main halyard and main sheet this year. Needs work: -The stern pulpit has been removed due to one of the supports breaking.  I have the piece but have not had it fixed or replace.  Was trying to find a used one with no luck and then going to have a custom one built with quarter seats hanging over aft (like Catalinas).  Don't really need it for daysailing in the bay though and kind of liked how open it felt so left it.  - bow pulpit also is damaged and needs replacing. -wood on the deck could use sanding and varnish or oiling (as always).  The nice thing is that it is all covered so it will last.- Plastic speaker covers are done, haven't been able to find replacements but it is cosmetic only, speakers work fine. - Some of the deck paint needs some touching up in areas- Bottom paint last done in 2010 will need that soon. - The interior cloth is original and while in good condition could use updating. - All winches work but could use servicing. Selling because will be relocating out of state this summer.  Very sad to have to have to give her up.
