For sale... 22 foot Birchwood cabin cruiser. Very good hull with no damage or osmosis blisters. Excellent standing headroom for the average sized crew.
These boats are built to be spacious and they are !
Needs TLC to inside as windows and deck fittings were letting in rainwater which has damaged some of the interior woodwork. The leaks have been professionally repaired and the interior is in the process of being refitted. There are still a few deck fittings that could do with being resealed. I will be happy to advise buyer.
Reason for selling. ..........
Not enough time to finish and enjoy. Other hobbies dictate and a change in circumstances means that I have to sell now as an unfinished project. Inventory includes the following........ New ceramic sea toilet (unused). Fully plumbed in with quality fittings.
Gas locker for two bottles one full with one spare.
Cooker/oven.
Excellent and very clean seating pads.
Cockpit canopy is not very old so still in very good condition with no rips. zips all good and sound. Vinyl windows also good and not clouded. There are a couple of fasteners missing so will need replacing.
Volvo Penta petrol inboard with out drive. This has never been used/started by me as the boat has been out of the water during the 3 years of ownership. I had the engine winterised (then) by a specialist marine engineer who said that the engine and out drive appeared to be in very good condition with no issues. Please bear in mind, the engine has never been started since. The boats batteries are probably no good now.
Boat is ready to be viewed and is on a farm close to Harwich, Essex.
Buyer will have to arrange own transport but the farmer can lift boat onto trailer for a modest fee.
A bargain to be had and well worth viewing.
