Due to very sad personal circumstances my beautiful Jaguar 25 8 meter bilge keel draft 0.5 meter yacht is up for sale.   The previous keeper hardly used her but maintained her to the highest standard with no expense spared. In the 4.5 years since I have owned this beautiful yacht I have continued with these same high standards.   In March 2014 we started a journey sailing this yacht to the Mediterranean. Leaving early in the season meant we had to contend with heavy weather.     First leg Portsmouth to Cherbourg totalling 90 nautical miles. The crossing was eventful with strong winds and large seas. Sailing this sturdy yacht in such conditions always filled me with confidence and I had no concerns of the seaworthiness of this yacht. The crossing was completed in a remarkable 11 hours.    Leg 2 Cherbourg to Honfleur.  Sailing along the Brittany coast our yacht performed impeccably.    Leg 3 Honfleur to the Mediterranean.  We had the mast lowered and started the journey through the French canal systems. This took approximately 4 months. No rush!!. The yacht navigated the locks with ease and provided very comfortable accommodation for two adults.    Leg 4 Cruising the Mediterranean.  A year was spent cruising the Mediterranean coast.  Mainly staying at night on anchor and only visiting marinas for supplies.  As previously this yacht coped with all conditions and provided comfortable living accommodation for 2 adults.    Currently berthed in the beautiful bay of St Tropez in the south of France.    The five star secure marina hosts excellent facilities including surrounding bars and restaurants.   Berth is paid until end of August 2017 and this will be included in sale price.    She is British registered and on the SSR register.    Specifications   Electrical Garmin fish finder Simrad chart plotter TP 10 Tiller pilot Log depth gauge Battery charger 110 amp leisure battery Engine battery 240 shore power Fully wired with UK plug sockets throughout including USB points Solar panel with regulator  Led lighting throughout TV / DVD comboVHF Radio Two automatic bilge pumps   Engine Yanmar 10 gm regularly serviced. Starts first time (video available) I am from an engineering background and have meticulously maintained the engine.  I am not sure of the age of the engine but it is doubtful, due to its condition, that this is the original boat engine.   Auxiliary EnginesSuzuki 2.2 hp two stroke outboardMariner 4 hp four stroke outboard     Sails Batten main sail very good condition  Furling fore sail very good condition  Storm sail never used Cruising Shute immaculate    Rigging All excellent condition    Ground tackle 3 anchors 25 meters 8mm chain 35 meters 10mm chain25 meters rope   Life raft 8 man life raft (needs servicing)  Accommodation  Large double v-berth with memory foam mattress  Large single aft quarter berth Saloon converts into large double berth Full length sofa   W/C Single manual sea toilet and sink   Galley Built in cool box Gas double hob and grill Electric double hob Stainless steel sink with manual pump tap Microwave oven   This yacht can be delivered anywhere in the Mediterranean by prior arrangement.    Not only is this yacht suitable for both the novice or experienced sailor the spacious accommodation provides the opportunity to purchase an economically priced holiday home for a small family.    This yacht has been my baby and it is with a truly heavy heart I must part with her in the hope she will go to a good home and to carry on exploring the Mediterranean that so sadly I am no longer able to do.
