For sale is our beautiful 2003 Chaparral 190SSI (same as 196SSI). This boat has the upgraded 260HP 5.0L Fuel Injected Mercruiser Alpha 1 V8. Simply turn the key and go. The boat only has 137 hours and has been used only in fresh water for family boating. All maintenance is up to date and she is registered and has mussel stickers for 2017. I have the clear titles for both the boat and the trailer. Everything is ready to go.As you can see in the pictures, the condition is immaculate. The upholstery is always protected with 303 Aerospace anti-UV spray. The carpet is like new (we usually leave the carpet out). This boat has many upgrades over the standard 190SSI. It is the sport seating configuration, includes snap in carpeting, fire suppression system, upgraded stereo and speakers, full cover, bimini top etc. There are 3 onboard coolers with drains and two large storage areas for water toys or wakeboards. The boat performs very well. If you search "Trailer Boats 196SSI" online, there is an article written by trailer boats magazine where they tested the same model under a different name. These boats plane up well and handle chop extremely well. Top end is in the mid-50 MPH range. I have a 4 blade aluminum propeller (3 blade original included as well) that brings it up on plane a bit quicker.Specs on the hull: LOA: 19'6" / 21' 4" LOA with optional extended platform
Beam: 8'4"
Deadrise 20 degreesThe trailer is a very nice DHM with tandem axles and a breakaway tongue to help fit into garages. It has surge brakes on both axles. Tandem axles are a nice feature on a boat this size.If you aren't familiar with Chaparral boats, they are near the top of the market in terms of quality and hull design. I've had 3 of them and they are great boats. Similar to Cobalt, Sea Ray, Crownline. Up market from Four Winns, Mariah, Maxum, Regal, Bayliner etc.
