These boats were designed & built by Doug Sims in the late 70s and early 80s in Cleckheaton, Yorkshire.
This is a good example of a rare classic. It is in a Great Original colour in Very Good Condition for it's age.

Their popularity has never wained and this great design seems to hold its value well tooconstructed from GRP with Original colour Gel Coat in Very Good Condition for with no damage or repair ...brilliant for its age.its a blank canvas so you could paint it to your own taste and name it yourself as currently , and to my knowledge , it has no name.I purchased it as a project but because of health reasons, I have never gotten round to it. It has had new windows and new window seals.Its been sat for nearly 7 years. It has been jet washed fairly regularly to keep it clean and I have retouched the little varnished parts. My wife has re upholstered the seats in faux leather and they look nice and respectable and clean. The rear of the boat has been boarded out but there is a hole where it has worn with people getting in and out so that needs a small repair. The boat came with a Mariner 40 which I saw run but it has sat for 7 years ,will need to be re-started and serviced and for that reason I am calling this a project. The propellor turns nice and easy tho. The wheel is very old but it is connected to the engine and the engine steers right and left although these cables are old and will need to be renewed.The Trailer is strong and sturdy but needs a paint. The tyres have remained inflated all this time and are in good condition. There is a removable front cabin hatch, 2 wooden roof grab rails, and a bow rail.
