Up for sale is my 2000 Pursuit 2860 Denali (Pursuits cruiser version). I purchased the boat in the fall of 2014 knowing the engines would need some attention. I had a friend look at the boat before i bought it and he was amazed by its overall great condition but alerted me about the engines that looked great but weren't (port 307hrs, starboard 309hrs). I took it to my marine mechanic and he said a complete rebuild was in order. As busy as he is he suggested that I look for a couple of factory "rebuilds" to save time. In my search I found a couple of brand NEW Mercruiser 4.3 Multi Port Injection models for slightly more than the "rebuilt" carborated models so I purchased them and delivered them to his shop in the middle of April, 2015. After replacing virtually everything in the engine compartment with new OEM, pumps, blowers, switches, bellows, gimbal bearings, hoses, cables etc. (we did retain the fresh water cooling system) and freshening the Bravo 3 drives in late September of 2015 we were ready for it's shakedown cruise. One wiring harness plug that wasn't totally seated was the only problem we encountered. Once we found the plug and pushed it together the beeping stopped and we were good to go. The thing runs great, up on plane was effortless. We were done in less than a hour, thus the "zero hours". I have great respect for Lake Michigan which is where we would be using the boat, I wanted everything done right, it ran perfectly. I headed to Florida for the winter. While in Florida my wife asked "if the boat were done earlier, when would you have taken time to use it?". Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, even in retirement I'm a work-a-haulic. I have a beautiful 21' runabout on a boat lift right in my front yard that basically only gets used when my grandsons want to go tubing. I thought about that for months and on our drive back to Michigan (nothing better than "windshield time" to sort out these kinds of issues) I/we decided the Pursuit was a bad idea for us. Upon return we listed the boat with a broker who said the boat generated tremendous "phone traffic" but not enough interest to get anyone to buy a plane ticket to come check it out. I'm going to eliminate the need to buy the plane ticket. The boat was listed @$44,500 which was well below my investment. I'm listing the boat cheap enough that you can save the plane fare and use some of it to come and get it. This sale is "as is where is", period. The boat was a salt boat for it's first 300+ hours but with all of the changes most everything mechanical that came in contact with the salt has been replaced with new. The hull is very nice - one small chip in the gelcoat on the swim platform. New bottom paint, new tachs/hour meters, other than the factory instrumentation there is just a blank stainless steel dash so you can outfit to your own taste and/or needs. The boat comes with an excellent condition Eagle trailer with new tires (less than 300 miles) and new retractable jack, ready for the road. The boat has a clear Michigan title and it's registration ran out in March of this year. I don't know a lot more about the boat than the description above, I do have more pictures but eBay would only let me download the ones you see. if you want to see a picture of a specific part of the boat let me know, I may have one. The boat is in locked heated storage so I'm not sure how easy it will be to get better pictures. As far as I know everything works, windshield wipers, windless, radios, new battery charger, newer batteries, the only thing I can think of that wasn't tested was the water heater. Check the pictures for condition. This boat belongs in the water so let's make that happen, No low ballers, fixed price, if i wanted to give it away it certainly wouldn't be to a stranger. Have your money ready, $1000 non refundable deposit within 24 hours with full payment within 3 days. I have the title in hand with no leans. Zero or negative feedback buyers need not apply. Life is short, never drive an ugly boat. Thanks for looking, good luck.
