No reserve! Must Sell! Sacrifice! Up for sale is my Catalina 30TR. I purchased this boat from its original owner a few years ago. It spent most of its life in the Hamptons on Long Island and was meticulously maintained and well cared for by its original owner. I had the bottom stripped 2 years ago and redone with ablative paint. The boat has not been used much since then and needs a good bottom cleaning. As you can see in the pictures, its in the water, complete, and ready for a new owner who has time to use her. The cushions are in very nice shape as the pictures show. The boat needs a good weekend cleaning and will be well worth the effort. The boat has hot/cold pressure water, Raytheon radar, Diesel engine, roller furling genoa, lazy jacks, and much more. I'm selling the boat as/is and its the responsibility of the new owner to have the boat moved. There is a boatyard on the canal where the boat is berthed who can handle the bottom cleaning. The boat sailed great and I hate to sell it but I recently purchased a house out of state and no longer will be able to use it. If you have any questions, please ask. PLEASE NOTE: The last picture shows the boat out of the water when the bottom was stripped. The other pictures show the boat as it currently sits in the water. All the other pictures were taken this past week.
On May-16-17 at 16:16:15 PDT, seller added the following information:PLEASE NOTE: I TRIED TO START THE ENGINE AS A FEW PEOPLE INQUIRED ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT IT RUNS. IT RAN FINE WHEN IT WAS WINTERIZED LAST SEASON. I JUST TURNED THE KEY AND NOTHING HAPPENS. THE LIGHTS IN THE CABIN COME ON AND THE WATER PUMP RUNS WHICH IS ALL FROM THE HOUSE SWITCH PANEL BUT NOTHING HAPPENS WHEN I TRY TO CRANK THE ENGINE. I'M NOT SURE IF IT"S THE BATTERY, KEY SWITCH, OR STARTER. AT ANY RATE, AS I"VE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED...... THE BOAT IS BEING SOLD AS-IS. IT'S OBVIOUSLY GOING TO SELL FOR A FRACTION OF WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE ASKING FOR THEIRS SO I'M SURE IT'S STILL WELL WORTH CONSIDERING.
On May-17-17 at 15:28:35 PDT, seller added the following information:OK GOOD NEWS!!! I went down to the boat today and found that there was an open wire, possibly a bad ground from the engine to the key panel. I jumped the wires in the engine compartment and the engine fired right up and runs fine. It shifts in and out of forward and reverse as it should. the pedestal controls still operate fine but the key switch needs attention. If I have time, I will run a new wire, otherwise be advised that this will need to be checked out. At any rate, The engine itself is running as it should.
