This aft cockpit variant of the Elysian (see bottom of page for more on her provenance) is a popular cruiser for inland waterways in their day and still so now. This one is very attractive and rare as she is aft cockpit and has a coach built mahogany top giving her a lovely classic cruiser look and feel while benefitting from a good condition low maintenance GRP hull where it counts. She belongs to a friend of mine who lives over on the east side of the country and has based her near Marham. He bought her something like 10 years ago with my assistance when he was a bit younger healthier and fitter.  He and his friends have had fun cruising the broads and enjoying the vistas and wildlife. She has a decent amount of usable space in the cab and cockpit so is ideal for that or a family as the cockpit is reasonably deep.  She in my opinion is better than modern designs for family use and general weekending/holidaying. This is because it is easier/safer to get around her decks and things like there is plenty of light in the cab and the dining table has a window view of the vistas you will no doubt find. Mick being the good egg he is has had a fair bit of work done to ensure she remains a beautiful boat and ensure the new owners really appreciate and enjoy her.She is fitted with a good quality and proven 4 cyl Perkins marine diesel with gearbox and shaft drive which is in running order.I am happy to do my bit to answer Qu's as a more boat wise person than Mick or contact Mick to view/discuss a purchase if interested and get the detail on what's been done where when why and how etc. If youre interested in her, there are some more pics but putting them on ebay is a pain.
