Attractive Cruiser Stern Narrowboat , 38 feet long , built in 1995 by Hapton Boats , and with an exceptional solid wood fit out to create a very cosy atmosphere . Fully repainted last year , in Red / Light & Dark Grey, and left unlettered for the new owner to choose. Front well deck with storage under (from inside), and water tank access on the bow top. Lister twin air cooled diesel , and featuring hydraulic drive to the propeller , hence no shaft/ gland maintenance or leakage.
Access from rear deck down steps to the rear cabin with bench seating(storage within) making up to double bed, forward through wardrobe/ shelf spaces to shower room on the starboard side and Porta Potti toilet/vanity unit & sink on the port side, whereby opening both doors makes a full width bathroom by closing the centre corridor off.
Galley area with oven/grill & hob, gas water heater, sink /drainer in tiled worktops , and centre walkway with terracotta tiled floor , plenty of storage again. Next the Montrose log burning stove and bench seating making up a double bed at night , or table top during the day. Again , massive storage space here.
There are plenty of lights on 12v and also a 240v ring main with separate 240v lighting circuit,( both from shore line).
2 brand new Domestic Batteries fitted , and double speed alternator , with Sterling Battery Management. 2 new nav lights on the roof. Newly fitted switched fuse panel. New side & rear fenders , new sink in vanity unit.
The boat has recently been dry docked , (see picture), and has been blacked with 2 coats above and 3 coats below the waterline , and at the same time an independent hull survey was done , at a cost of £420, which would normally be arranged and paid for by the purchaser . In addition , 4 new anodes were fitted , and a new 4 year safety certificate was completed .
