For sale is this beautiful handmade Glen-L Flying Saucer. Everywhere we take it, people comment on what a unique and beautiful boat it is. Comes with a Johnson 25 HP, believed to be 1991. Includes one 5.5 and one 6-gallon gas tank. Runs great. Carburetor was rebuilt about 3 years ago, we have used only ethanol-free gas since then. The battery is 2 years old. The trailer is old but functional, it was rewired two years ago. We did not build this boat ourselves so we do not know the exact year but it was approximately 2004. We are the second owners, we bought the boat in 2012. We will miss this boat, but have upgraded to a larger one. This is not a speedboat, it is a pleasure boat to leisurely stroll along the river and enjoy the scenery. It is a runabout, top speed about 25 MPH. Wooden boats are very light so it can be towed and launched with almost any vehicle. We used a 4-cyl pickup. Condition issues: some of the wood strip decking has come loose and needs to be glued down and re-finished. This damage is superficial and does not affect the boat's performance. Also, on the bottom of the boat, a roller on the trailer had been pressing upwards and put a crack in the gel-coat. This has been repaired.Local pickup, either Chattanooga, TN or Douglasville, GA.
