1965 Johnson deluxe 17 I/O
I bought this cool boat to restore and to match my old truck but didn't have the time so I want it to go to a good boat home.Everything seems to be here and in relative working order.
I never got it in the water but the power tilt window works
Motor tilt works
Have an extra stringer drive and prop
All marker light work
I upgraded all the wheel bearings, hubs and tires with higher capacity radial tires than the originals. I also have a matching spare for it
Seats are not original but were tastefully chosen.
I had a custom cover made for it locally and paid $800. Needs some minor restitching on one of the seams
I had the engine running by pouring gas in the carb and it sounded good.
Two freeze plugs are out of the block but couldn't see any cracks on the block.
The bottom of the boat looks fair and will need some glass repair where the rollers touch one of the sponsons ..Have clean title
