For sale is our Cascaruda 1200 AK Dutch steel cruiser.
Year 1984.
Ford Lehman 2715E 6 cyinder 125hp engine.
12m long x 3.8m wide.
Draft 1.2m.
Height 3.1m with the canopy up, 2.7m with it down and you can gain another 300mm by folding down the glass.
In the four years of owning her and travelling through Holland, Belgium and France we have never had to fold down the glass.Two 12v engine batteries that were new last year.
Two 12v batteries for the 24v system and one 12v battery for the 12v system.Fuel tank 400l and water tank 900l.Webasto blown air heating with a radiator in the toilet/basin room.The interior of the boat is light and airy as there is no internal helm.The forward cabin sleeps two as does the aft cabin with a very large double bed.
There is currently a sofa bed in the main living area which would sleep anther two.The galley is well equipped with a four ring gas hob, fridge, microwave and double sink.
There is a small capacity 240v water heater under the sink.
There is also currently a second fridge in the main living area.The toilet/basin room contains just that along with a cupboard above the basin and another below.
The toilet is electric flush and runs off the 24v system.Karina was taken out of the water last year to check for rust and to redo the anti-fouling.
Her hull was found to be in superb condition having been previously painted with an epoxy resin.
No rust, no damage and no repairs.
Two new fresh water anodes were added and the existing were all in good order.Overall a good condition boat that would benefit from an internal update.
Easy to liveaboard/houseboat within easy reach of transport links.
