This is a 1992 Clark Craft Racing Runabout Kit boat that my son and I built as a project. It is a J-class racing runabout and can be raced in competition. We only had it in the water once after we built it and with a 10hp outboard motor it came up on plane and ran nice.
All it needs is some cleaning up and a new coat of paint to be like new. We stored it in our garage for several years but after downsizing houses and retiring it now sits outside next to my garage. It has been under a tarp but it is starting to weather and my son is not interested in keeping it. So our project and memories are for sale.
My son named the boat Jackelope after the cartoon at the time and we had a brass plate made for it. Jackelopes motto was "fast as fast can be you cant catch me"
The boat has both a front and rear cockpit for two passengers. We never added the steering wheel and throttle controls but there is mounting block for the steering wheel.
