I've had this boat for about 10 years and it's been great. I used it to fish on the NSW South Coast, and it was a very seaworthy craft. I paid $9,500 for it with an older trailer and a 1980's 90HP Johnson. 5 years ago I fitted a 115 Mercury Optimax. 2 years ago I upgraded to a bigger and newer Haines Signature Cuddy Cabin with a 115 Evinrude Ocean Pro. The motor was in excellent condition, had obviously had little use and went very well. However I swapped it with my Optimax, as it is a later model DFI motor that owes me a lot of money! I had to make the Optimax XL shaft to fit the transom (Note this is easy on the Optimax, not so with the Evinrude) I also swapped trainers as my old trailer was dual axle and suited thje larger boat better. So I have for sale:The hull. As pictured~5m Pride Pacemaker. Fully kitted out, with a radio, 4 year old GME Marine radio, good pedestal seats, covers (worn), carpet (good) fuel tanks and other bits and pieces. The motor.1998 115hp Evinrude Ocean Pro. Excellent Condition. XL shaft (i.e.25"). Includes cables and all gauges. The same as this:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/115hp-evinrude-/142354177632?hash=item2124f85e60:g:p88AAOSwCU1Yz2T6
The Trailer, as pictured.2006 Stessco single axle. Good trailer. Has brand new disc brake calipers and rotors and pads, and bearings (I've never even towed it with them fitted yet). It has good quality LED lights and is Galvanised. Also comes with an electric winch (still in box, not fitted).
Why isn't it going? 3 main reasons:1. The motor is an XL 25" shaft and the transom is a 20" shaft. So the transom has to be raised 5". I planned on doing this, or having it done. At the same time having a hollow spot in the transom, behind the motor at the top of the transom repaired. A pretty easy job for a fibreglass professional, or a good handyman.2.  My time - I am a busy professional and have very little spare time for these types of projects anymore.3. We moved house and the boat is now stored at a friends house. I cannot work on the boat there. they want the boat GONE!So, I am stuck with no other option but to sell as is, or rent a shed to work on the boat and sell as a going unit. My local boat shop has valued it as $7.5k to $8.5k as a complete unit. If you want proof, I'd be happy to supply their contact details. It's a good solid boat!I can't afford to rent a shed for the boat and I can't afford the time to get it back together. So my loss could be your gain.I am willing to sell the motor separately, but the hull and trailer will go together.Buy it now price is $4.5k ONO for boat, trailer and motor.Motor is $3k.Try buying just a new Stessco trailer of this size. It'll set you back around $4k on its own!So, the motor is a cracker! Easily worth $3k on its own. As you can see above, others are selling for in excess of $4k.The trailer is only 10 years old and in good condition with allow wheels and good tyres. I will register it, at my cost, if the buyer is in NSW.The boat has served me well, has some good gear, and with a bit of time or money can suit the Evinrude 115. It would make an awesome inshore ocean fishing rig (as I used it for).I broke the throttle/gear lever removing it. I will source one for the buyer at my cost if the boat sells for the (already reasonable) asking price. Call Steve on 0437209885 for any more details.
