I am offering for sale my 1996 Seadoo Sportster jet boat which is in need of an engine rebuild. It has a very good hull (never grounded ) with some new upholstery . My son began the engine rebuild effort with disassembly and then went off to college.......and there it has set. Also, a plastic cowling which covers the steering assembly and gauges was damaged in a storm. No damage to the gauges.They sell on ebay for $50 or so. It comes with a good trailer having near new tires and bearing buddies, and a WSM rebuild kit ( high performance pistons, rings and gaskets, seen in photo ) costing about $250. If you're able to work on the rotax 2 cylinder engine, you can have a nice $5,000 to $6,000 jet boat before Memorial day. With the value of the trailer and the rebuild kit you're really only paying about a thousand for the boat! Hull is in great condition, but needs a major scrubbing as you can see . I measured the impeller clearance recently based on directions from the CDROM manual and it was in the "OK" range......not "like new" but not needing replacement. Trailer is in very good condition with very good tread on tires. The winning bidder must pay a non-refundable deposit of $500 PRIOR TO PICKUP.
