Relisting due to time waster that messed about for 3 months and then offered £360 less than agreed Best Offer price.  I have owned & used this boat for about 5 years  in Spain before bringing it to the UK. It is a Granchi Hobby 20, approx. 1986, with a Volvo Penta V8 5.0ltr petrol GM engine with a Volvo Penta single prop stern drive. It is a 6 seater planing hull, with hydraulic trim and power steering. It has blue and white upholstery with a swivel pilots seat, a passenger seat which folds into a sun lounger and an upholstered bench type back seat. Behind the back seat is an upholstered full width sun deck, this is also the engine cover. A rear diving deck on the back has a small, folding, boarding ladder on one side and an emergency outboard transom [no outboard included] on the other. The hull is in need of a clean and polish and antifouling. No signs of osmosis have been noted. The boat is very fast and will pull skiers, board or banana without a problem. It is a heavy and very stable boat, fitted with port, starboard and stern navigation lights. The prop is in very good condition with no grounding damage. There is a big storage cuddy at the front for life jackets, anchor etc. [Life jackets and anchor are not included]. The trailer was built for the boat, in the UK, and has only been in the water once when the boat was transferred from the trailer it came from Spain on. The trailer is twin axle with 13" wheels. It is braked on all wheels with rod and cable brakes. A hand winch is fitted to the snubber post. The tow hitch is fitted with a breakaway brake which is also the parking brake. Note:- When the photos were taken there were no mudguards on the trailer, these have now been fitted. Buyer please note: The trailer hitch is a 40mm ring type and will not fit on a normal towball, it needs to be a pin type hitch. The buyer will need to bring a light board and a long connecting cable as there are no lights on the trailer [for obvious reasons].  NOW THE BAD NEWS:  This is being sold as a project boat because somebody I trusted ran it without water and destroyed the engine A piston has broken up and gone through the liner. The engine is quite a common engine fitted in several Chevrolet road cars. The marinisation parts are all OK and, after a clean up, will be ready to fit straight onto a road car engine. I have spoken to a couple of breakers [of American cars] and they tell me this is a common engine. Prices I was quoted were between £300 and £400 for a half decent one. Fitting looks quite straight forward with a reasonable amount of room to work in the engine bay. Alternator and power steering pump and starter motor are all working OK and can be fitted to the replacement engine. The rear upholstered sun deck has some seams starting to come undone and could do with sewing up again. The interior could do with a good clean, it comes up nice with a multi purpose cleaner and warm water. A few timber strips would benefit from a drop of varnish. All TLC items really. Why am I selling it ?  Because I have more things to do than I have time for, and if I repaired it I wouldn't have time to use it. For a small outlay and a bit of time and effort, this is a lot boat .
