Restored Quintrex 14ft Fishabout MK2 New Paint New Recon Mariner 40hp For Sale is my completely restored Quintrex Fishabout mk2 This Mariner is the oil Injected model but it has been tuned to run on 2 stoke 50:1 petrol mix as its more reliable. I have spent many years meticulously restoring this boat to its original condition, or even better. Sadly due to work commitments I no longer use it very much and we need the room for cars. Motor has completely new internals and was built from scratch to years ago. I have only used it twice since then just a couple of test runs on Nepean River to keep it in good working order. Completely New internals on reconditioned motor only about 6 hours since done. Motor gets this light boat on a fast plane very quick. Motor has Hydrofoil fitted. Its fast enough for some light tubing or recreational use. Its also a great Fishing boat takes you to your best fishing spots fast and efficiently. Quintrex's Best Quality boats were made in the 70's This Concave Hull design directs splash away from the bow in rough weather. Has a New steering system as I replaced the troublesome cable steering. Electric Trim and tilt. High Quality Furuno Fish Finder with speed and water temp. New Custom made Curved Perspex windscreen and alloy frame New Paint inside and out Rod Holders Grab Rail around windscreen. Fishermans Sand Anchor in the front & Folding Reef anchor in the back. New Steering Wheel New Fold Down padded waterproof marine seats. New Battery and battery box Electric Start Nylon High tensile winch rope electric winch is not needed with a boat this light. Very Heavy Duty Trailer with new rollers and Skids Brand new japanese trailer bearings with bearing buddies installed on the wheel hubs bearings recently serviced. Brand new Falken tyres on trailer not retreads. All new lacquered marine ply on fittings. Seat cushions for bench seats. Key electric start 2 keys supplied. Restored Original Oars Original Metal High quality Fuel Tank New Light Board. I was going to improve it further with a marine radio install and custom made fold up awning but did not get to that part of the project perhaps the new lucky buyer will want to complete those upgrades in the future It will be sad to see it go. Inspections welcome weekends only please.
