Very original Penn Yan Riviera RS1, survivor, second owner, with excellent, original interior and very good exterior. Original 120 Mercruiser Inboard/Outboard (153 cu in Chevy 4 cylinder, pre-Alpha outdrive). Hour-meter shows 864 hours. Original propeller has been reconditioned, boxed, and is included. Currently, the boat has a Mercruiser Black Max 48-832832A45 Propeller (14 1/4 inch diameter, 21" pitch right hand prop with Flo-Torq II hub kit and 1A thrust washer) installed, which works quite well.Includes 1966 TeeNee double-axle trailer (2" ball) that was purchased with the boat by the original owner. Have original paperwork from first owner, showing when he picked it up from the factory in Penn Yan, NY. The boat spent the next 40 years on Sodus Bay, Lake Ontario (near Rochester, NY), and was meticulously cared for and stored in a boat house on a lift, or in the owner's barn from 1966 until 2006.The boat spent its next five years on Cazenovia Lake, Cazenovia, NY. It ran very well during that time, until the last outing, when it started to overheat. Diagnosis is a bad head gasket as evidenced by water in the oil (not bad in 45 years of running), so not currently running. I had planned on going through the engine, since it is original, but no time - too many projects. Cause of over heating and diagnosis will need to be confirmed when engine is torn down for inspection. Complete Fel-Pro marine engine overhaul gasket set (including head gasket), plus incidentals (oil filter, etc) included. Aft light mast needs repair - extra mast pole included. Gas tank was drained when the boat was moved to Prosper, TX (north of Dallas, due to job relocation) where it has been garage stored since 2012.Also included is the original "camper" top and side windows, which are in excellent shape. Will throw in other items - cushions, boat pole, flares, etc, for Buy-It-Now price. Newer mooring boat cover in fair condition is also included. Last two images show a 1966 Pen Yann advertising brochure with interesting specifications (not included). This is an incredible example of a first generation fiberglass boat from Pen Yann.
