Inventory # 10044 Location: Jacksonville, FL General Description: This 1995 36' Sabreline Aft Cabin Trawler was partially submerged after the port exhaust thru-hull, which sits above the waterline, had been removed for repair and later when guests arrived boarding on the port side, the added weight submerged the exhaust hose allowing water to enter the boat overwhelming the bilge pump. Water reported to rise approximately 5’ above cabin sole and water rose to the ceiling in forward V-berth and aft cabin. The vessels exterior cosmetics were found in fair condition. The hull sides were found generally fair and free of noteworthy damages or distortions, though not smoothly finished. Noted slightly unfair areas along the lower hull side sections in the bow area. The hull sides' painted finish was found in fair condition showing typical wear and tear for age. Noted cosmetic scratches and gouges in several areas. The hull sides were percussion sounded an inspected from ground level while in dry dock and no areas of suspect were found. The decks and superstructure were inspected and found to be basically sound showing no signs of hard or abusive use prior to accident. Not all equipment could be tested as no power to vessel at time of inspection. Other: AC: Dometic Marine Air, submerged, not tested, condition unknown. Bow pulpit damaged when it hung up on dock during incident showing crack across the top. Gauges and controls, VDO Gauges, on bridge in fair condition, not submerged. Flybridge in fair condition for age and was not submerged. Electronics reported not submerged on Flybridge. Bridge seating along the port and starboard sides with large stowage lockers underneath. Captain's armchair and matching companion chair to the port side in good condition. 7/8” stainless steel rails. Lower driving station in cabin was reported submerged just to top of steering wheel. All Gauges submerged but Garmin GPS map was reported just above waterline. Rubrail in good condition, Grey Polymar with stainless steel inserts Swim ladder in good condition Swim platform in good condition Transom door in good condition Trim tabs, hydraulic, single actuated, appear in fair condition, not tested. Galley: Galley with double stainless steel sink, storage above and below, Princess stove(submerged), Norcold Refrigerator/freezer(partially submerged), Whirlpool microwave (unknown if submerged) and U-Line Icemaker(submerged). No appliances were tested, condition unknown. Interior with salon, wood trim throughout shows water damage, settee starboard, dinette, galley, forward V-berth and aft cabin.
Ground Tackle: Maxwell 1200 vertical gypsy, submerged.
Canvas, Mast Rigging, Sails: Canvas/Isinglass in fair condition. Canvas top over Flybridge in good condition.
Head: Two heads with sink, vanity, shower (forward has hand held, aft has shower stall), two Vacuflush marine toilets, not tested. Both heads reported submerged.Shipping: Item sold "where is". The winning bidder ("buyer") is allowed an inspection period to verify that the item substantially complies with the published description.
