Dragonfly is a 27 ft all-steel cruiser style narrow boat built by Springer Engineering in 1990. She is an ideal introduction to the waterways. Please click on attached link for a short tour inside. Engine: 1997 15 HP Honda outboard, with electric and pull start. Very economical to run and regularly serviced. A “TILT-R” rudder has been fitted to augment steering. Berths: Sleeps 3, 4 or 5 , in varying combinations. The front bench seats make up a kingsize bed, and there are 2 bunks which can be erected above. At the stern, the bench seat makes another bed with foot space under the back deck. Bathroom: Cassette toilet, wash basin, opening window light and solar extractor fan. Galley Cooker with oven, stainless steel sink with drainer 240 volt shoreline connection with interior 13 amp plug Stove Aarrow wood burning stove. Situated opposite the back bench seat. The stove heats the interior very quickly and gives a cosy feel. Cratch Cover Dragonfly has a removable cratch cover for extra protection in poor weather. General Dragonfly is a pretty boat and can turn in the narrowest of spaces. She has French doors opening onto the front deck, where there is room for two small chairs. There are replacement alternative steel doors for added security when laying up for winter. When we bought her we had her fully re-plated and she was blacked again in August 2015. She has also been re-wired and a new fuse board fitted. Her Boat Safety Certificate (BSC) runs until May 2018. On the stern deck are two integral lockers for Gas and Petrol.
