I bought Retro in March 2015 after having a hull survey (available to see).  My mechanic and I worked on her in Totnes for three months before sailing her to Torquay where she is currently moored.  At sea she does between 10 and 13 knots.  The Ford 2700 series engines were marinised by JG Meakes of Marlow.  They have been serviced; they have hydraulic gearboxes with shaft drives.   Fitted with a new GPS Chartplotter, new Lewmar electric anchor winch, new solar panel, new annodes and four new batteries.  The Webasto ducted air heating is untested.  Retro still needs some tidying to be at her best.  As you can see from the pix, there is an open plan saloon/galley (where there are two berths), large cockpit, and aft cabin with two single berths and fitted with sink and separate toilet.  There are two heads in all, the one off the saloon also having a shower.  Both the toilets are currently used as sea toilets but there is a holding tank; however, when I bought the boat, I noticed that the entry pipe from toilet to tank was corroded, so disconnected it (a plumbing job will be necessary!).  The gas water heater has been removed as I was not happy with it, so a new unit will be required. In the last 6 months I have been in and out of hospital and have had open heart surgery, so have barely used her.  I did actually list her on eBay in October 2016 but had to cancel the listing when I was called for surgery.   In order to minimise stress, I would like anyone bidding to have viewed the boat first, as she is for sale ‘as seen’.  If the weather is clement, I can take any potential bidder around the bay.  There is no hidden reserve price on this auction.  Please email me via eBay with any questions you may have.  Payment is to be by bank transfer only. The Torquay mooring is not transferrable, but I understand there is a mooring available in nearby Brixham harbour.
