Fletcher Arrowhawk 19 GTO Built in 1996, my Arrowhawk 19 has the classic Fletcher sleek hull design with full-length strakes that give predictable handling and a smooth dry ride. It has a genuine 24 degree deep ‘V’ hull enabling the boat to grip the water as you power through turns and chop through the rough stuff. Fitted with an awesome 225hp Mercury 3.0 litre V6 2-stroke engine delivering huge torque and 60mph performance, it is one of the best packages available. The engine is fitted with power trim and tilt and has been winterized and de-winterized each year. Last season I had a new impeller and two new thermostats fitted (one per side). With plenty of room for family and friends this 19 foot bowrider really does have it all. It’s not too big so it can still be towed by a normal saloon and only requires a couple of people to launch and recover. The bowrider feature allows everyone to ‘spread out’ and relax in style with plenty of seating for friends and family and also provides useful space for additional gear. The full-length bow rails mean there is always a grab handle close to hand and the fitted ice-box and cup holders mean you should never be too far away from a cool (or warm!) drink. The boat comes with a set of cockpit covers, bimini and fully enclosure, so whether you want to set off on a fishing trip or a cruise to local beaches for a barbeque you’ll have it all covered. Unique to the Fletcher range of bowriders, this boat comes with the detachable ‘hard top’ or ‘bonnet’ that fully covers the bow section. For those that enjoy their boating all year round this is a good option – for those who should know better and go out when the rest of us are staying in, it is an essential!
