For sale is our 38ft Narrowboat 'Hedgerow Gypsy'. Built 1988, trad stern. Boat Safety to March 2019. Full hull survey carried out in Nov 2016 with the hull stated to be in perfect condition, no wear in any areas as the hull was professionally fully overplated several years ago and the hull is now much thicker than it was originally. A galvanic isolator is fitted to stop electrolytic corrosion.New anodes fitted and hull blacked in Nov 2016. She wont need to come out of the water for another 3 years at least. Would suit a liveaboard or weekend cruiser as its a very easy boat to use, steer and moor. New ropes and chimney.Very solid and homely fit out, repainted inside in white with hard wood floor and trim. New Toilet fitted.She has a fixed double berth in the rear, with a double sofa bed in the saloon. Pump out toilet (new) with a steel tank under the bed. Gas cooker, gas fridge. Morco D61E water heater, fixed shower. Solid fuel stove. 240v and 12v electrics. Galvanic isolator fitted(a necessity). Mastervolt battery charger.Lots of storage, wardrobe, cupboards under all the beds. New blinds throughout. Gas fridge which works perfectly.The engine is a Mitsubishi Thorneycroft 35hp, which was serviced in Nov 2016. The boat has a separate rear engine room. Stern gland was re packed also. The engine runs perfectly and is smooth powerful and quiet.I have all of the old manuals for the engine and a mountain of paperwork for all of the other major items, including a paper copy of the hull survey.The boat is located just outside Ely in Cambridgeshire.If you have any questions or wish to view please contact me on 07495 095057Please no paypal.
