Hello we are selling our 65ft by 6ft 10 Narrow Boat called NOGGIN, which is a Historical Narrow Boat name. We have invested a lot money into this boat to make it really warm in the winter months ( the insulation used was Kingspan, see pics ) and cool in the summer months ( big open sliding windows ).However its not entirely finished, ( a good clean, and it would look better already ) so would suit someone who is handy, you would however be able to live on it whilst working, as it has a working kitchen, with an under counter fridge, a cooker, and plumbing for a washing machine. It also has a put up double bed, a wardrobe, a large bathroom, with a semi - circular shower, a hand sink, a toilet with a large pump out capacity. There is electric central heating, and radiators. It has a BMC 1500 engine, which is disengaged at the moment, but could be worked on to restore it, it also comes without a BSS certificate, but once again with work this could easily be sorted. It was constructed in 1980 by The Peak Forest Canal Co. The hull is made of steel and GPR top.We had the front and back cratch covers made, which have hardly been used, the one at the back is very large, with lots of head room and would make a lovely place to take in the summer sunshine. Some colour full plants and seating would set it off just right! The huge space at the front, could pretty much be made into whatever more you needed, a second double bedroom, there would even be enough room for an office, or third smaller bedroom, then just Live The Dream, cruising around the British waterways!Or if you wished by negotiation with the Marina Owner, it could be moored where it is, at the Heart of the River Thames. The boat is now vacant and a lot of the furniture is not now on it. Please note this item is also being advertised on other sites.
