1960 Lyman 17' Outboard Runabout, includes Trail-Rite boat trailer with great tires and new wiring / lights. Boat had been sitting outdoors for over five years when I purchased it as a retirement project, but just don't have the time necessary to complete. Here's the good and bad:Boat:Lapstrake "clinker-built" construction, fresh Interlux hull paint.New decks, new window glass.Fresh Epifanes varnish.Transom in good condition.New Rule 500 automatic / manual bilge pump.Has some cracked ribs which will need attention someday (I'm no expert, but it appears to have been stored on an incorrect trailer without proper support, for many years).Has small area of soft wood on bottom of hull near drain plug - previous owner patched from inside the hull.Electrical and running lights in good condition.Engine:1960 Johnson 75 hp outboardElectric start.New water pump impeller.Two 5-gallon gas tanks with fuel level indicators.Shop Service / Repair Manual.Engine starts and runs, but idles rough. Due to sitting for several years, could probably use a tune-up and carb re-build.Needs a new battery.Boat and trailer currently registered in California.Boat is for sale locally, and this listing may be closed early.Located in central California coast area, shipping by buyer.
