NOTE: This £1 price obviously doesn't buy you a share in the boat!  See below please.  I am offering 1/3 shares in my Orkney Pilot House 20 which is dry stacked in the Camber, right at the entrance of Portsmouth Harbour – a real luxury location!   Why buy a whole boat and pay daft South Coast mooring costs all by yourself?  What about paying just one third of the capital and running costs and still be able to use it as many days a year (almost) as you would if you owned it outright?   Having protection from the wind, weather and spray, this boat offers a much more comfortable and safer ride than a RIB.  Leave those for the speed junkies who just want a fair-weather fast runabout!   I’ve been out today and the Log shows I’ve used the boat just 23 days in the last 12 months – I have a big boat in France too!  I’d like 2 other co-owners to use it for as many spare days as they like!   Not quite first-come-first-served for who uses the boat, but on the rare days 2 or 3 co-owners want it, the option will go to the owner who has least used it recently – or any other fair system we may adopt.   This particular boat was the 2005 Boat Show boat so has a few extras.  It’s not spotless or without signs of use, but it’s in excellent overall condition.   I DON’T want to sell shares to FISHERMEN – sorry, but to people who will use it carefully with their family and friends in the East Solent area.   The boat has a 50 hp Yamaha outboard which is good for 15-18 knots at sensible engine speeds.  It has done about 250 hours since new.    The cost of a 1/3 share is £5000.    The Annual Costs of Dry Stack mooring in the Camber is £2900 for 2017-18 (ouch, but typical).  Insurance, one engine service per year, plus a small allowance for minor repair and maintenance jobs is about another £1000, so we’d each deposit £1300 per year to cover these costs.  Anything more or less will be adjusted annually.   You supply your own petrol – there are 3 x 25 litre tanks on board so easy to manage.   Free parking at the Camber is included in the mooring deal plus as many launches into the water as we want throughout the year with just a couple of hours’ notice to the yard.  Because it’s dry stacked, the bottom stays clean and no antifouling costs are incurred.   You can find details of the latest version of this boat (very similar) here –   The £1 asked here is just to get the ad onto Ebay – I’ll donate it to the RNLI.  You’ll receive more details of the boat and its equipment and the opportunity to discuss the deal without any obligation.Obviously the £1 doesn't buy you a share in the boat!   I hope this is of interest.  Thanks for reading!  Peter
