Project boat but will make a fantastic family speedboat. Main issue is the engine, which is not working; please read below. Sea Ray are well known for making superior quality speedboats and this is no exception. Beautiful lines and high quality fittings throughout. Hull and superstructure all in good condition with no cracks or serious damage. The usual chips and knocks to the gelcoat and the rubbing strakes have a few dents and dings. Please see photos. Original red and white gelcoat which will polish up very nicely. Interior seats and cushions are in good serviceable condition but could do with some tlc. Carpets and linings need replacing as they are heavily stained with moss and algae. Engine is a Rover 3.5 litre V8 coupled to a Mercruiser outdrive with stainless steel prop. When running, the engine sounded fantastic with straights through exhausts and that distinctive V8 burble. HOWEVER, the engine has not been run for 18 months and is now in serious need of attention. It will not start and when I have tried turning over by hand, it won't turn. I am no expert but suspect it may be seized. I really don't anything more about it. See photos for information. Boat is being sold 'as is' with no trailer and it is a project. Please refer to photos and make your own judgement on condition. I do have some additional photos which I am happy to email upon request. More than happy for you to come and view prior to the end of the auction. In fact I would strongly recommend a visit so you can be sure of what you are bidding on. I am based near Lancaster and the boat is on hard standing on my drive. It goes without saying that the buyer is responsible for collection of the boat at their cost. Note, gate posts on drive will accommodate a normal width vehicle and trailer but nothing wider than that such as a commercial vehicle. Usual rules of eBay apply; you are bidding to buy. Please do not bid and not turn up or decide to turn up and try to haggle on the price. I have described the boat as honestly as I can but, for the avoidance of double, this a project boat; it will need some effort to get the engine and outdrive sorted BUT once done, it really will be a beautiful boat and one which will make you very proud. Happy bidding.
