We have for sale a Bombard Explorer 385 WB. 3.85m RIB with De Graaff trailer. Age unknown but would have been very expensive when purchased new. The I.D. plate indicates that this boat will safely take 5-6 people. It is currently fitted with a 15hp 4Stroke Mariner engine in VGC, but will take a 30hp if you really feel the need to change it (this is quite a fast boat for inland waterways with its current engine). The tubes are in good condition and have been holding air for several weeks on the trailer prior to listing. The hull has had a small repair to the front at some point in the past, but this has caused no issues and is structurally sound. (the repair can be seen in pic4 by the rubber strip under the bow). The trailer is in good order, with a working winch but does not have a light board supplied so you will need your own. The plastic wheel arches are typically split (see pics) as is common with such small trailers but it is ready to drive away. This came to us approximately 2 years ago from a rowing club on the Thames. It had been used there for coaching and safety launch duty for rowing boats with a maximum speed of around 15kph so has not been worked hard. We had it fully serviced, and have used it for around 15hrs total in the last 2 years since then, hence the reason for this sale. The boat may benefit from a clean due to the 2 years with little use, but is in good condition as you can see in the pictures attached. The steering console is off to one side making it possible for 2 people to sit side-by-side while driving. It has a hard floor and secure anchor points for a fuel tank. The outboard is in very good condition also and starts easily from both warm and cold, usually first pull. This boat is sold as seen and as such viewing can be arranged in Boston Lincolnshire. The boat is currently stored away from the Rowing Club but can be brought back down for demo purposes. We do not have a local slipway, but could arrange to have to boat on the water with some notice. Any questions please ask. We have had some interest and offers already, so feel that a BuyItNow with a Best Offer option is the fairest way to proceed. Good luck and Happy Bidding! Many thanks
