Winding Down was built by Elton Moss Boatbuilders in 2009 and offers a rear bedroomed layout. She benefited from a repaint in 2015. Winding Down is currently based at Welton Haven in Daventry, on a Saturday turnaround. The boat is designed to accommodate up to six people in a 2 + 4 format and is pet free. It is run by a lovely syndicate of people and is very well maintained by Carefree Cruising. So it's a great way to enjoy a lovely boat for around 40% less than you would pay to hire boats that typically cost £1100 or more a week for one this good.Bedroom: In the rear bedroom there is a full sized double bed, plentiful storage and washing machine / tumble drier. Bathroom: The cabin bathroom offers a full sized shower and a pump out toilet. Galley: A spacious Galley, with the full domestic sized gas oven and grill, separate four burner gas hob, fridge/freezer, 230v microwave, a dishwasher and granite worktop. Dinette: The dining area offers an L-shaped dinette, which converts to double berth, with a freestanding table. There is a chiller drawer under the seating. Saloon: The saloon has comfortable built-in seating that converts to beds and a wood burning stove. There is a built-in flat screen TV, a DVD player and Radio / CD player. The share on offer is a 1/12 share of the boat, giving you at least four weeks a year. Often extra weeks come up for free when other owners can't use their weeks. You pay a monthly fee of £220 until July 2017, reducing to around £164 monthly after that which covers mooring and all costs apart from diesel and pump-out when using the boat. This share is unusual in that you will get a three-week slot in September 2017 - enough time to go all the way to Oxford open the Oxford Canal, then along the Thames, and up the Grand Union canal!
