Hi there this listing is for my fishing boat. It was restored 7 years ago and after being moored in the river for a season I sold it to a friend. It was stored in a garage and has had very little use in the last 6 years and I have since bought it back for this coming season. The engine a 25hp mariner 2 stroke has since decided to play up and will not start, but it was running well ,so I have removed it from the boat for repair.I have now sadly decided to sell the boat and trailer. The engine will be sold separately when repaired or broken for spares at a later date, or open too offers on sale of boat to buyer if buyer so wishes.The boat could do with a little tlc, (3 tins of Blakes red, white and blue paint included ), but it is ready to use now with your own engine. It is a perfect river loch and estury fishing, leasure boat. It is very easy to handle single handed and tows very well behind a car. Made of fibre glass it is strong and stable in the water. The cabin has a fixed seat inside and room for 4 adults and kit if the weather turns bad. The front window now opens outwards so dropping anchor from the bow is possible. The transom has had a bespoke stainless steel strengthening plate fitted which is perfect if a large, heavey, powerfull engine gets fitted. There is a new hand winch fitted for easy recovering.The red deck cover is very heavy duty, made from the same material that is used on lorry curtain sides, and is held up with a simple push together frame. With the elastic fastenings it is held firmly in place and does not let in water. There is enough material at the rear to cover the outboard engine when it is in the lifted up posission. Only half the leg and prop are seen.I have used this boat in a tidal river with a 6hp engine and found it ok but it did struggle against the running tide. I then bought the 25hp outboard and found it to be great but a little heavy, so an engine of 10hp - 20hp would be ideal. There are accessories included with this sale, anchor and rope, boat hook, paddle etcWhen collecting bring your own trailer board.
