Our 1979 Glastron SSV189 came from Lake Ossipee, NH. It spent all of its life on this lake, was stored inside by a marina and was never trailered up until last year. The 165 horsepower Mercruiser straight 6 cylinder is very quiet and smooth and is exceptionally clean. This boat starts up easily and operates as it should and is very comfortable on the water. New spark plugs, plug wires, points, condenser, distributor cap, coil and oil change was just added and/or completed last season. I also replaced the outdrive water pump last season and the motor stays nice and cool. The seats and upholstery are in amazingly clean shape. All gauges operate. The hull is shiny and solid as are the floors. The original teak appointments and bilge cover were all recently professionally refinished. I installed a 12 volt accessory plug in the glove compartment for cell phone charger and/or music, etc. The tilt/trim buttons on the dash have been modified slightly but work with no problems. You have to look hard, but there are few areas of very minor surface chips in the gel coat that were repaired on the hull. The carpet is original and has some wear, but it is still in excellent shape overall. Comes with a storage cover that is a few years old and a nice solid 'Escort' galvanized trailer with new tires, lights and tongue jack. Registered for the 2017 season. This boat is truly is in exceptional condition for its age. Thanks for looking and please ask any and all questions before you bid, I'd be happy to answer them. I'm sure the new owner will really love and enjoy this boat as much as we did!
