1993 Mariah Z240 cuddy cabin. 7.4l Mercruiser with very low hours but had engine problem with a knock in upper end. Engine was taken apart and found to be in excellent shape with no broken parts at all. All the bearings were good.
Put everything back together with all new bearings and gaskets, but knocking sound did not go anywhere. I lost interest to it after that. It is something little. Could be lifter or something else, but I'm not sure what is it. Boat is fully loaded with silent choice exhaust power seats...etc. Boat is in grate shape but need good wash.
