As pictured and a real jewel in the crown, a good engine is essential on these boats and these are one of the best. A recent full service was carried out inc a full oil and filter change etc.. It runs on red diesel and is very very economical. (Available at local garage about 2 miles away)Gas safety certificate issued for the new LPG cooker fitted

Canal Trust Mooring fees paid until Sept 2017 but you will need to check if transferable, separate from Farm mooring fees.

4 x new batteries June 2016 2 are charged by the main engine alternators and 2 via a large solar panel on the roofA well equipped galley, with 12v fridge, TV, LPG cooker and plenty of work and storage space.Will sleep up to 5 with a private separate bedroom in the frontOn board large cold water tank, producing Hot & cold though the mixer tap in the kitchen sink, hot water is produced by the engineAluminium blinds fitted throughout which are easier to maintain than curtainsVinyl roof collapses all the way down and is fantastic in summer as an open topMooring:The boat is currently moored at the canal side on a very secure and private farm with 25 or so other canal boats behind locked gates. We have built a lovely mooring with a gate and picket fencing surrounding and in the summer the farmer lets you drive up the field and park right outside the boat. This mooring has been negotiated with the Farmer who is a very nice man for the new owner to keep where it is (should they choose) and a 12 months transferable contract has now been paid in full as of 1st April 2017.The mooring fees a year are only £324 (no vat) which is a lot cheaper than most marinas. (You can of course just purchase the boat and take it to a Marina of your choice but I am unable to get a refund on the mooring as it has been paid for the 12 months.) Insurance for the boat is only £120 a year.I will leave the chairs and table at the mooring along with a small portable bbq and a very usefull Xlarge plastic storage unit.The decking area and fence last year was treated with a 10 year guarantee non slip stain (forest green) so should be maintenance free. Seamasters are classics and will hold their value extremely well. This is an ideal first time boat to buy as it was for us, they are easy to steer, sail and moor up. Getting parts and repairing them is not a problem either, there is a mobile engineer who services the canal or a boat yard a few miles away that can carry any work you may require in and out of the canal and just up the road in Garstang is one of the Countries best stocked Chandleries. However there are no issues you need to worry about with this boat.We are only selling the boat due to a house move to Devon and regrettably we can't take it with otherwise we would happily keep it.
