1988 27 foot Almar Sounder with twin 350 volvo 271 HP with enclosed cooling, there just over 1000 hours on each engine.The outdrives are the factory original Volvo Penta 290 Duo prop [ stainless steel ] its all factory original. They run great and operate as they should. I have know this boat since new it started out as a county sheriff search and rescue boat on a fresh water lake here in Idaho, it was used very little due to our short boating season and ultimately sold to me 2 years ago, I did a partial restoration which included all new marine grade 3/4 plywood flooring, then all decks were sprayed with lineX rhino lining. All other painted surfaces were sanded and repainted with marine grade paint. The bottom was completely sanded and new bottom paint was applied and is ready for the water. Engines were serviced changed oil and filter,new plugs, wires, and distributor cap, I had the outdrives serviced with new ujoints, seals replaced where needed and new bellows. Drives have power trim and tilt, all gauges work, one tack flutters some and there are hour meters as well. Boat has heat, power steering, many search lights one remote spot light. Great storage under seating, bow storage compartment with porta potty.We add enclosed safety railing, with 2 cannon mini mag electric down riggers, pole holders and a new 9.9 horse Yamaha high trust trolling motor with electric tilt, we added an in line hot water sink for washing hands and cleaning fish. Trolling motor is controlled by a garmin tr-1 gold auto pilot. It is also incorporated with a new hummingbird KVD 1199 ci HD side image fish finder. other electronics include the original Furuno RA 48 radar, Icom IC m504 vhf radio with new antenna, Garmin GPS 172c, Texas Ranger side band cb radio with new antenna, as mentioned earlier a new Hummingbird KVD 1199ci Hd side scan fish finder. Lastly it has an awesome stereo system starting with a Kenwood Krm d5588t reciever, Sony gs 400 amp and 4 Polk marine grade speakers. This is an excellent example of craftsmanship in a aluminum boat built for rough water to get you out and back again, time after time. It's not new and shows a few scratches and miner dings and a little of life's adventures but she still turns heads everywhere i take her.
