This is a HANDYMAN SPECIAL!For sale is a 2002 Aqua Patio Pontoon Boat 22.5 foot party barge / pontoon boat with a 115 Yamaha 2-stroke outboard motor with NO TRAILER. It is in pretty rough condition... please review all pictures and read the complete description BEFORE BIDDING, the radio does not work, multiple holes in the seats and carpet, shifter getting stiff when going into reverse, the depth finder does not work, the lights do not work, and the speedometer does not work among other things so if you are looking for a cream puff, turn-key put-put boat KEEP LOOKING! This boat needs a new owner that is not afraid to get a little grease on their hands and is willing to get her back on the high seas with minimal work and money! I have included MANY photos showing most of her flaws and combat damage but not all so please note her many boo-boos BEFORE bidding!!! The boat has been sitting for about 4 months and so it is going to need the carbs cleaned to smooth out the idle and also notice that there is a crack in the lower unit of the outboard right in front of the prop (check pictures) so I would also recommend replacing the lower unit of the outboard with a used one that you can probably find online with a little bit of research... like I said she is a handyman special!!! The boat is currently located in Fort Myers Beach, Florida sitting on a boat lift and is ready to drive to a new home locally or it can be driven to the nearest marina and put on a trailer if you bring your own because a TRAILER IS NOT INCLUDED!!! A few of you might be asking yourselves can I just buy this boat for a song and dance and take her home and start water skiing behind her tomorrow? No... it will start and it will be able to idle somewhere locally but I would not recommend taking her to Naples on the inter-coastal waterway unless you have brought your camping gear, a three day supply of food and water, a flare gun, distress whistle, toilet paper, board games and lots of reading material because like I said she is a HANDYMAN SPECIAL and it needs a good carb cleaning and the lower unit replaced because of the big crack in the casing... note the pictures of the lower unit!!! I do believe that someone is going to get lucky and get this pontoon boat at a great price that with a little elbow grease and a little extra money for repairs will end up with a wonderful pontoon boat for his or her family to get out and enjoy the summer fun in!!! Life is passing us all by at a very high speed and sometimes you just have to say what the frick and go for it!!! Get a pontoon for your family and kids and have it running smooth and sweet before the beginning of summer with a wee bit of sweat equity. It has a VERY EXPENSIVE custom canvas cover, and a "has-seen-better-days"Bimini top and Bimini cover, 4 ORANGE UGLY adult life preservers (PFD), a fire extinguisher and a rescue whistle with GOD only knows what diseases (use ONLY IN CASE OF A REAL HONEST-TO-GOD EMERGENCY) included ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!I am selling this for my uncle and I have a signed clear title for the boat in hand. I have personally driven this boat and know enough about it to probably blow my nose once or twice so please ask any and all questions BEFORE PLACING YOUR BID or better yet come over and inspect the boat until the cows come home if necessary... start it, rev up the Yamaha 115 engine and you too can see that it sputters and dies in neutral at idle but will run a bit smoother with a little more power!!! Remember though... she is a REAL DREAM to dock as she usually dies right at the WORST possible time so please BRING YOUR CAT LIKE REFLEXES too if you are planning to drive her home... carb cleaning please!!!I prefer the buyer pay cash when they pick up the boat and require a $ 200.00 deposit within 24hrs of winning the auction and the remaining balance paid within 3 days. The boat can be picked up and driven home if you live very close on the water or it can be driven to a local marina and trailered home if you have your own trailer handy.
