Inventory # 10027 Location: Tracys Landung, MD General Description: This 1994 35.1' Beneteau Oceanis 351 Sailboat damaged believed to be caused from improper blocking of vessel. This vessel was not submerged. This damage is concentrated aft of the keel and in the area of the aft jack stands. Hull in poor condition with shiny gelcoat. Vessel structural integrity is based on a grid system fastened to the interior hull with secondary bonding. Grid strengthens hull, keel and standing rigging. Vessel will deform without adequate reinforcement of this type. Inspection indicates this has occurred in the subject vessel. Cracking apparent in straight line from keel to propeller shaft log. Cracking at waterline to port and starboard under and into gelcoat. 12 Volt batteries were not charged and therefore 12 Vold DC system could not be tested. 120 volt AC system was not plugged in. Examination of the shore power cord showed burnt ends. The onboard receptacle was also burned, cause undetermined, so the electricity was not activated. Small inspection areas where ground through paint and gelcoat to inspect hull. Not all equipment could be tested as no power to vessel at time of inspection. Other: Anchor locker AC, not accessible at this inspection, condition unkown. Boom in good condition Cockpit or Helm station in good condition, with teak seat insets. Steering wheel in good condition, wheel cover shows UV damage. Deck in good condition Gauges and controls in good condition Gunwale in good condition Keel, winged, also called sting ray keel Lifelines & Stanchions in good condition Mast in good condition Other windows in good condition Roller furling in fair condition for age Rudder & Tiller in fair condition, rudder had high average relative moisture levels Sails: one Neil Pryde mainsail and on Neil Pryde headsail in bags onboard vessel. Appear in good condition inside bags. Swim ladder in good condition Swim platform, sugar scoop, in good condition. Salon with galley, salon, settee, convertible dinette, forward cabin, aft cabin and head. Upholstery in very good condition, like new. Wood interior trim in good condition. Headliner in good condition. Teak/holly flooring in good condition, it was removed for inspection recently put back in place. Carpet in good condition.
Ground Tackle: There is no windlass.
Canvas, Mast Rigging, Sails: Bimini frame in good condition, no canvas sighted. Some corrosion on standing rigging on chain plates.
Head: Single head with sink, vanity, mirror, shower attachment and manual marine toilet, not tested.Shipping: Item sold "where is".
