FOR SALE: TRIPP 37. NOT YOUR USUAL AGING FIBERGLASS BATHTUB!!! A fast and comfortable cruiser racer, she was built by Holby Marine in Bristol, RI in 1989. The hull and deck are E glass, fully foam cored and gridded, so that the hull is still quite fair. She is the last of nine boats built to this design, all semi-custom. Highlights : 37.0 ft LOA; 29'10" LWL (increases to 32'6" when slightly heeled); B 11'10"; Draft 6'10". Displacement 13,000 lbs, with 5,500 lbs lead in the keel (42% B/D -- so quite stiff). Rig: I = 49.75 ft., J = 14.5 ft., P = 43.5 ft., E = 13.5 ft. Normal heel angle about 15 degrees). Yanmar 3GM30F diesel was rebuilt by Mack Boring in 2012. 56 gal. water, 30 gal diesel. 16 " feathering MAX prop new last year. Quite comfortable to cruise 4 or more: Headroom is 6'2". Full teak interior with ample handholds and no sharp edges anywhere. Gimballed Force 10 propane stove with oven and grill, hot and cold water in galley and head, hot and cold cockpit shower, Blaupunkt stereo with CD changer, pilot berths in main cabin, cabin table folds around mast, solar vents in cabin and head, 17 lights, many red / white and upgraded to LED. On a cruise she has gone from Vineyard Haven to Newport (45+ miles) in a little over 6 hours (7.5 knots) with only my 11 year old daughter as crew.
